Best Stroller Ever!

Thanks to Rebecca for the heads up on this one! I think I am in love...with a stroller! I have been looking for a double stroller forever and we actually bought one and just took it back because I hated it so much...but everything I hated about it is fantastic on this stroller! Not only is it actually a good looking stroller, but it has easily accessable storage, 5-point harnesses for the little ones, isn't so huge that it just isn't worth the hassle to use it, and both the kids get to be comfortable and have room to grow, AND it can be used as a jogging stroller. How cool is that???

Aquarium and Caden's Birthday!

This last weekend Kara, Rylee, and Jadyn came to visit and so we all went to the aquarium for our usual great time! Caden and Rylee sure love hanging out together and they are so cute! Caden had a great birthday and loved every second of it...especially the cake!

Christmas

So I have just been hoarding all of our family's pictures because I was too lazy to download them!! Christmas was so fun this year with Caden because he actually (kind of) knew what was going on. He has been a great big brother to little Skylar and she seems to just adore him (despite the occational "accident" she recieves from him). She has been such a good baby, knock on wood, and we got to bless her on Dec 28. Caden even helped with the Christmas cookies this year, and yes, I am using the term "helped" very loosely. He has really enjoyed the bike AND tricycle he got from G'ma and G'pa Edwards and Auntie Serene, but he can't ride them without the motorcycle helmet even though I don't know how he even holds up his head in that massive helmet! Thank goodness he has so much family close by to spoil the heck out of him!

Happy 2nd Birthday!!!

Has it really been two years already??? I guess so, since there have been about 2,000,000 dirty diapers, 20,000 messes, 200 cuts and bruises, 20,000,000 "no's", at least 20 embarrassing "mom moments" (with MANY more to come), countless moments thinking "well, this is NOT what I signed up for!"...but also countless times that Mom tears up thinking how proud she is of her little boy and two little arms that give the best hugs in the whole wide world...Happy Birthday, C-dawg, we love you!

Festival of Trees

These pictures are actually already a couple of weeks old, but we went down to the Festival of Trees downtown...it's a charity event where they sell all these awesome trees and donate the money for Christmas. Caden was obsessed with this "fishing tree" so we had to take a picture of him and grandma edwards by it. The other picture is the first "smiling" picture of Skylar with her auntie Moriah...too cute not to post!

Christmas time!!!

I love Christmas time!!! But I must say that here in the land of enchantment, it isn't feeling too "christmas-y"...it's still warm! I haven't even had to break out my winter coat! Oh well. It's not like we're known for our white Christmas here, right? (c:
