WARNING: Graphic images, viewer discretion is advised

So we have been having a busy and fun summer...that might explain why I haven't done a real post in quite a while! But these are obviously not the graphic images, I put those further down so those of you that have weak stomachs aren't subjected to the horror of my foot surgery....(c:

Part of Josh's father's day weekend was an Isotopes game and me learning how to make his favorite: cinnamon rolls. And for those of you who know me, I don't cook. But I was awfully proud of these...

Caden and Skylar cooling off in the pool...

Caden being SUPER happy at an outing to Cochiti Lake...

A ride from big brother...

And for the moment you've all been waiting for...my foot started hurting a couple months ago and I thought that I had a stress fracture or something, so naturally I refused to go to the doctor. Makes sense right? Well, surprisingly enough, not only did it not get better, but I got this weird lump on the top of my foot. So then I should have made a doctors appointment, right? NO. I just asked everyone in my family what they thought about it until Josh got sick of it and made me a doctors appointment. Well, it turned out I had what is called a Ganglion cyst on my foot that the best way to get rid of it is a little foot surgery...and these are the beautiful pictures I had Josh take because I was too chicken to look myself:

And for those of you who know me, I LOVE my shoes...and just look at this fabulous new addition to my collection:

You're jealous. I know. (c:

Okay, before I barf because of that picture you posted, I have to comment on how adorable my neice and nephew are! Gosh, I miss them!!! Also, I need you to now teach me how to make debbie's cinnamon rolls because they are amazing. And lastly, that picture is disgusting....but I hope you are doing good and healing quick.

i couldn't look, but i have one of those in my hands. you can only see it from a certain angle. i was told it's completely harmless and they tend to come back so i've decided not to do anything about it. plus, mine doesn't hurt, thank goodness. hope your recovery goes well!

GREAT PEDI!(I always find the good in the situation!LOL)
It is amazing how if that bump was on your kids you would have taken them right away to the doctors but when it is on us it can be dealt with later-KUDOS JOSH for making you go!! Hope you get back to your HOT FM shoes soon you look bangin in those things!

Very nice! The cinnamon rolls look delicious. And I actually thought the surgery pic was kind of cool, but I would have been freaking out if it was my own foot! I hope you heal quickly! But at least you have pretty toes in the mean time. (c:

Looks like you guys really are enjoying your summer. Too bad about that ganglion cyst. Yes, I'm glad that Egilania found us on Facebook, but I need to talk to her. It's been forever!

I funniest thing about your foot pictures is...... Your toes are always perfectly painted. They make up for the nasty pictures you posted. LOL.

I only find it funny that with your nasty foot pictures that you would have your toes perfectly painted. Two things scream Aubrey to me. 1. toes perfectly painted. 2. high heels! I LOVE IT
